I'm happy to announce that we've made a few updates to the site. One is that a more recent photo of the statue-in-progress has been made available by our sculptor, Richard Becker, and it now adorns several pages of our site. The other biggie is that the Gallery page has been redone and sports a new interface, and many, many more photos. You can email and print these right from the gallery. Enjoy!

Hello All!

Today, I'm pleased to announce some simple changes to our "About Us" pages. Responding to a suggestion from Ed Davidson, who pointed out that printing the bios didn't work. So, now you can! On each bio page is a print button. Click on that and it will open a .pdf file that is formatted for printing for each bio. Also, on the "About Us" page there is a button now that links to a .pdf file that combines all of the bio pages in one file.

If you want to download a bio, you can do that by "right-clicking" on the print button, and saving the file on your computer. These bio .pdf files are small enough to email too!

Thanks again to Ed for pointing this out!

As one of the few Korean War ex-POWs affiliated with the San Diego POW Chapter (now moved to Texas which limits my attendance at activities), I wanted to take theis opportunity to bring the association to the attention of POWs of the Korean War, Vietnam War and more recent Desert Wars.
Only three among those of us attending the meetings of the association are KW ex-POWs. Most are WWII ex-POWs. It has been an honor for me to share time and experiences with these fantastic men. I simply want to urge ex-POWs of the later wars to take advantage of the opportunity the organization affords to enjoy an association with the organization. Ralph Kling, via thia site, can take care of connecting any and all who may be interested, even in occasional participation.

Relevant is the fact that this memorial project is dedicated to our POWs of ALL US wars, including those who were not so fortunate as those of us who returned.

How you think when the economic crisis will end? I wish to make statistics of independent opinions!
